Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) & Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE)

The commitment for the environment is a firm component of the company philosophy at Glasfil Polymer SDN BHD and stands in conformity with the requirement for adherence to highest quality requirements.  In form of annual objectives Glasfil Polymer SDN BHD express its environmental policy and derives  the necessary activities.

Including the entire staff and contracted partners all fields are analyzed continuously of their potential for the energy conservation, waste reduction and the usage of environmental compatible materials (RoHS). This RoHS environmental legislation restricts the use of certain hazardous substances to levels of less than 100 – 1000ppm used in electronic product. The WEEE legislation direct that other substances and materials, exceeding 1000ppm, be report to meet recycling requirements.

The development of integrated concepts is our focus. The environmental compatibility on  the complete life cycle of a product is very important – begun with the emergence of the product over its usage up to the possible reintegration into the economic circulation.

Therefore we are confident that, if present at all, the level of PBB (Polybrominated) and PBDE (Polybrominated Diphenylethers) are below the limits of the European Directives 2002/95/EC (RoHS), 2002/96/EC (WEEE) and 2003/11/EC.

In this consequence, customers benefit from powerful, sparing resources and environmental compatible products.
